Mary Frances Holger, 85, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday November 19 at the home of her daughter Carol Wikberg & son-in-law Bruce Johnson in rural Waxahachie. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Holger, parents John & Greta Berglind, sister Judith Sandberg, brother Philip Berglind and grandchildren Mary Adrianna Holger & Jeremy Timmerman. She is survived by her son Paul Holger & his wife Betty of Aurora, Colorado; daughter, Carol Wikberg & her husband Bruce Johnson; daughter, Linda Farmer & her husband Duane; sisters, Dorothy Hallsten, Colorado, Martha Nwaobia, Minnesota; Ruth Ivey, Virginia and Esther Krekorian, Arizona; grandchildren, Julie Light, Jason Wikberg, Jennifer Lucas, Janel Connell and Melissa Timmerman; as well as 7 great grandchildren, Christian, Caleb, Savannah, Austin, Carter, Cooper and Presley. Franny was born and grew up in Chicago. After their marriage she and Ray moved to Cloquet, MN. They returned to Illinois and raised their children in Worth. Later they lived in Phoenix, Arizona; Red Oak, Seven Points, and Waxahachie. Franny worked very hard in many occupations; the last as a live-in care-giver for a 100 year old lady in Glen Heights. Franny loved music. She had a beautiful voice and played the piano. She also enjoyed spending time at the lake swimming and boating with her family. Franny was a devoted Christian and faithfully prayed for her family, friends and everyone she knew. Those serving as pallbearers include, Paul Holger, Duane Farmer, Bruce Johnson, Jason Wikberg, Caleb Wikberg and Christian Light. Those being honored and serving as honorary pallbearers include, Casey Lucas and Jamie Connell. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Emerson officiating. Interment will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
