Mary Kathleen Gallman of Italy, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2004 at Renfro Healthcare Center in Waxahachie. She was born in Kerens, Texas to Claude and Exxer (Horn) Mayo. She was a graduate of Kerens High School and Tyler Business College. She also attended Navarro and Hill County Junior Colleges. Kathleen married William L. "Leo" Gallman on June 26, 1947 in Longview. They moved to Italy that same year. She was the secretary for the Italy ISD for 26 years, from 1958 to l984. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Italy and the United Methodist Women. She was also an active supporter of all her children's school activities when they were students.

She is survived by son, John Gallman of Italy; daughter, Celia Reeder and husband Joe of Ft. Worth; brother, James Mayo and wife Margurite of Tool, TX.; grandchildren, Jace Reeder and Josh Reeder; great grandchildren, Jane Cooper and Ky Cooper. Mrs. Gallman was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Leo Gallman; granddaughter, Kelly Cooper, four brothers and five sisters.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6 -8 pm Monday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W. Hwy. 287 Business, Waxahachie, TX. 75165. Graveside services will be 2 PM Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at Hillcrest Burial Park, Waxahachie with Rankin Koch officiating. Interment will follow.
