Mary Elizabeth Thompson passed away at Pleasant Manor Living Center on Friday, January 23, 2004. She was born in Big Spring Texas to Roy Judson Davis and Bertha Wadsworth Davis. She was a member of Faith Family Fellowship Church in Dallas and a charter member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Odessa, Texas..

She is survived by her son Carroll R Thompson and his wife Susan,of Spring, Texas, two daughters, Sharon Lewis and husband Gene, Charlotte Purcell and husband Ted both of Waxahachie, Texas; one brother Vyrion Davis of Sedona, Arizona ; three sisters Evelyn Cupp, Nelta Sue Norwood and Jeannine Bingham all of Odessa, Texas. Also surviving 5 grandchildren, Londa McCullough, Danny Thompson, Carroll Lewis, Scott Thompson , Mollie Savage and 9 great grandchildren.Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband Carroll S Thompson in 1998, and a brother, Roy L Davis in 2003.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 7 to 9 pm, Monday, January 26, 2004 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be at 2 PM Tuesday, January 27 at the Faith Family Fellowship at Kiest and Interstate 35E in Dallas with Pastor C. Gene Lewis officiating. Interment will be on Wednesday, January 28th at 1 PM
At Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery in Midland.
