Mary Beatrice Couch, 88 of Waxahachie, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008 in a Dallas hospital. She was born to the late Orville Melborne & Zora Zenella Flint Gallman on October 13, 1919 in Navarro County.
Bea loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, playing 42 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waxahachie. Prior to joining the First United Methodist Church, she was a member of the Waxahachie Bible Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cleo Couch who passed away in April 9, 2004.
She is survived by her son, Bill Couch and his wife, Margaret of Lubbock; daughter, Beverly Burns and her husband, Jerry of Melbourne, FL; sister, Maurine Gallman of Italy; 2 granddaughters, Benay Burns and Sarah Lyn Couch; 3 grandsons, Jonathan Couch, David Couch, and Stephen Couch; step-granddaughter, Kristin Railsback; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Hillcrest Burial Park. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church of Waxahachie with Rev. Kevin Wilson officiating.
