Mary M. Castillo, 67 of Waxahachie, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2008. She was born to the late Pedro & Espirion Sanchez Martinez on April 9, 1940 in Robstown, Texas.

Mary loved baking, especially for her family. She enjoyed doing crochet, planting flowers and gardening. Mary loved buying and shopping for antiques. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by so many close friends, her church family, and so many who loved her.

She is survived by her children, Robert & Yolanda Castillo, Daniel & Carmen Castillo, Albert & Patsy Gutierrez, Fidel J. Castillo, Barney Castillo, Graci Castillo, all of Waxahachie, John & Christina Castillo of Ennis, Carlos & Emma Castillo of Cedar Hill, Gilbert Castillo of Bryan; sisters, Aurelia Livar of Arlington, Alicia Marin of Palmer; 26 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fidel T. Castillo, and her daughter, Rachel Garcia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Nguyen serving as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2008 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home and a rosary prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
