Mary Bradley

Mary passed away Wednesday morning in the presence of her family at Buffalo Creek Assisted Living in Waxahachie. She was born in Venus TX to Gib and Wilma Meeks Woodall. She graduated from Venus High School in 1947 and soon began working at the D. Samuell Clinic in Dallas. She married Don Curtis Bradley April 6, 1962. She was a faithful Christian and a member of the Brown Street Church of Christ. Surviving her are daughters Sheila Bradley of Waxahachie and Donna Johnson along with her husband Bert and their children Cooper, Cari, and Cody of Arlington. Also, Sister-in-law and husband Betty and Bob Saylors of Waxahachie, Sister-in-law Patsy Woodall of Venus, Aunt Frances Morgan of Hillsboro and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother and her beloved husband of 39 years. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 PM Thursday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The celebration of Life will be 2 PM Friday, February 22, 2013 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel with Walter Buchanan and Dean Kilmer officiating. Interment will follow in the Venus Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be: Cooper Johnson, Cari Johnson, Cody Johnson, Brian Saylors, Chad Saylors, and Van Ball. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Bob Saylors, Keith Hines, and T. J. Ball. The family is thankful for the staffs of Buffalo Creek Assisted Living, Family First Hospice, and Family Care of Texas for their kind and gentle care. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
