Mary Nell Barnard October 14, 1931- September 6, 2011 On the morning of September 6th, Mary Barnard joined her husband James to live in the house of the Lord, as she lost her battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Mary led a life of service, serving the Lord and her family. She was consistently active with her church family at Central Baptist Church, while living in Lancaster, TX and also at Farley Street Baptist Church, while living in Waxahachie, TX. She faithfully served her church family in many capacities: wife of a Deacon, choir member, substitute Sunday school teacher, WMA teacher, volunteer office worker and church clerk. Mary was an adoring wife, loving mother, steadfast provider and full of love for God, her family and her friends. Mary is survived by her four children: James W. Barnard, Carol Cather, Larry Barnard, Steven Barnard and six grandchildren: Trey Clark, Mitzi Clark, Justin Barnard, Candice Barnard, Kristin Barnard, Matthew Barnard and two great grandchildren: Brooks Robbins and Hayden James Clark. Mary will be remembered by all for her selfless love and devotion to her family and community. Service to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, September 09, 2011 at the Farley Street Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Smith and Rev. Jerry Burnaman officiating. Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, September 08, 2011 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
