Mary Ann Allelo, 77 of Waxahachie, passed away, Monday, January 25, 2016 in Waxahachie. She was born to the late Cyrus and Iris Rockenbaugh Guillot on April 1, 1938 in Patterson, LA. Mary grew up and attended school in Patterson, LA and graduated from Patterson High School. She attended college at Southwestern Louisiana Institute, now the University of Louisiana Lafayette. She is survived by her sons, David Allelo and wife, Sue of Waxahachie, John Allelo of Bogota, Colombia; her grandchildren, Sarah Faust, Sam Allelo and Lucas Allelo all of Waxahachie; her great granddaughter, Elena Benitez of Waxahachie; 4 nephews, Alan Taylor and wife Jennifer of Patterson, LA, Dean Taylor and wife Jennifer of Youngsville, LA, Brad Taylor and wife Karen of Lafayette, LA, Ryan Taylor and wife Michelle of Patterson, LA; 7 great nieces and nephews, Amanda, Rebecca, Kendal, Lauren, Blake, Shelby and Ivy. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson, LA. Family will receive visitors at the church at 9:00 a.m. until service time. A rosary prayer service will be recited at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, February 13th. Local arrangements were handled by the director's of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie, Texas. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Joseph Chapter of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Joseph Catholic Church of Patterson or to the charity of your choice.
