Marvin Rush

Marvin Frances Rush went home to heaven on July 26, 2020.  He is survived by his wife Dorothy.  Marvin was preceded by his parents Jessie and Allen Rush.

After graduating from Michigan State University, Marvin enlisted in the Navy and served two years as a hospital corpsman.  Following his service, he began his career as a high school biology teacher.  He later joined his father on their family farm tending horned Hereford cattle and their apple orchards.

Marvin loved the Lord with a quiet servant’s heart. He and Dorothy gave generously to many missionaries.

A graveside service will be held on August 7th, 11:00 under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Burial will take place at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
