Martin Molina III born July 22, 1959 went home to Jesus on Wednesday, August 31st in Dallas, TX at a young age of 63. Marty was a much-loved office manager at the family-owned business, Escobar & Son Paint & Body, for 27 years before retiring. He was an active member of the Heritage Baptist Church for many years.
Marty was a simple man who loved God and his family above all else. He prized most the time spent with his loved ones, especially his grandkids. Marty had a great love for the outdoors, fishing, and hunting in which he encountered many adventures throughout his journey on this Earth. Marty “Pops” also had a love of watching funny yet creepy Sy-Fy movies along with Westerns. He read “Lonesome Dove” so many times, he would wear out the book and need a new copy. The family had a fun ongoing joke about sasquatch and he would crack up to receive a weird sasquatch gift. His chuckle would fill the room with light.
Marty was preceded in death by his father Martin Molina II. He is survived by his mother, Aurelia Tamez Molina; his wife, Robbie Stephens Molina of 20 years, daughter Olivia Lopez & husband Daniel of Lancaster; daughter AmyLynn Dodd & husband Scott of Blooming Grove; daughter Brandy LaPierre and wife Olivia of Ennis; and son John Michael LaPierre. Marty had 11 blissful grandkids. Daniel Lopez IV, Destiny Lopez, Mathew Lopez, Danika Lopez, Alyssa Lopez, Liliana Lopez, Addison Dodd, Cheyenne Dodd, Jade LaPierre, Jack LaPierre and Arthur LaPierre. Marty is also survived by his brother Alex Molina & wife Julie; his sister Lisa Alcala; sister Letty Lopez & husband David; Danny Escobar and wife Norma; and his “baby” sister Noelia Miller & husband Stan. He is survived by his 6 nephews and 7 nieces in which many a memory will go on about Uncle Marty.
