Martha Strange

Martha Elizabeth Strange, 84, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 in Dallas. She will be buried in Barbee Cemetery by Dublin, Texas next to her husband, Harold Strange.

Martha was born on August 6, 1926 to George and Pauline Palmer Lowry in DeLeon, Texas. She graduated from DeLeon High School and attended 71 of her class reunions, she was sure to never miss one. In her younger years, Martha worked at the Bob Wills Saloon in Dallas. Martha was a lifelong member of the Kessler Park Baptist Church in Oak Cliff where she ran the children's nursery and worked at Vought Aircraft for over 40 years as a Hydraulic Technician. Martha loved sitting and drinking coffee at the Waffle House as well.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Warren of Springfield, Missouri; nephew, Robert Gilliam of Springfield, Missouri; and goddaughter and godson, Sandy and Jimmy McCowan of Waxahachie.
