Martha Eloise Boyd, age 89, formerly of Georgetown, IL. Passed away at 6:32 PM on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Provena USMC in Danville, IL. She was born on November 25, 1916, in Salem, IL., the daughter of James H. and Verna (Crane) Watson. She married Billie Boyd on October 16, 1941, in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death in October 1984.

Survivors include: her son, Billie Joe Boyd of Richardson, TX; her brother, James "Buster" (Mona) Watson of Salem, IL; her sister, Evelyn West of Georgetown; her grandson, Michael Boyd of Richardson, TX. and his mother, Sherry Boyd of Austin, TX; and her many nieces and nephews. Her parents, one brother-George "Cobb" Watson, and her son-Robert Keith Boyd, preceded her in death.

Mary Eloise was a member of the Georgetown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafts and loved flowers. Martha really enjoyed writing and receiving lotters.

The Celebration of her Life will be 2 PM Graveside Services, Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at the Hillcrest Burial Park with Howard Davis officiating. Interment will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials donations in Martha's name are welcome at the Georgetown United Methodist Church.

Local arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
