Marshall Mullens age 71

Mr. Mullens passed away Tuesday morning at the DeSoto Nursing Home. He was born in Beaumont, TX. to Eugene and Nora Mullens. He graduated from Abilene High School in 1950, attended McMurray University, Arlington State University, the University of Texas at Arlington and later attended Golden West College in Huntington Beach. He worked at Spring Engineering, Inc. until 1985. Mr. Mullens was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners.

He is survived by: one son, Brent Mullens of OR.; step-son and his wife, Dan and Yara Bowyer of Grand Prairie; step daughter and her husband, Debbie and Paul Tribble of Waxahachie; four grandchildren, Sean Tribble, Grant and Leslie Tribble, Brandon Tribble and Danielle Bowyer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Mullens in July 2002; daughter, Debra Ann Mullens; brother, Michael Mullens and sister, Ruth Griffin.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 11 AM graveside services Friday, November 28, 2003 at the DFW National Cemetery with Jason Prewitt officiating.
