Mark Allen Rhodes, born October 6, 1944 in Logansport, Indiana and passed away at his home on July 15, 2008 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debra; devoted daughter, Michelle, son-in-law, Mark Griffith and his adorable grandchildren, Luke Joseph, Jake Allen and Tatum Ann Griffith; mother, Betty Rhodes; father and mother-in law, James and Jannis Tuttle; brother, John Max Rhodes; brother-in-laws, Stuart, Jeff, and Larry Tuttle and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mark graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Accounting. He served in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was an avid golfer and Aggie Football fan. Mark enjoyed every minute of life and made the best of any situation. He will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to meet him.
Pallbearers will be Mark Griffith, Ray Copeland, Donnie Aston, Seth Terry, Gil Clark, and Russ Hodges.
Honorary pallbearers include Luke and Jake Griffith.
Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2008 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bells Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
