Marilyn was born November 2, 1943, in Bartonville, IL. to Samuel L. Dills and Helen Lane Dills. She was a younger sister of Shirley Gold. Marilyn moved to Texas in 1963 where she later married Ray Senter on July 4, 1964. They were married for 49 years until his passing. They later had their one and only child, Kathy Kay. Later Kathy married her childhood sweetheart, Dean Armstrong, giving Marilyn her two grandchildren Austin and Skylar Armstrong who were her world. Skylar later gave Marilyn her only great grandchild, Logan Smith, who she absolutely adored. She passed, Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 3:21 PM in her dwelling surrounded by loved ones. Marilyn was a housewife spending a lot of time doing her favorite things such as taking care of her daughter, bird watching, gardening, painting and most of all playing Zelda with her grandkids. She loved spending time with family, summer barbecues, swimming, and holidays that were always filled with homemade cookies and ice cream. The thing we will remember the most not only how strong and of course stubborn of a fighter she was but how loving, caring, and free spirited she was. She never failed to smile or to make you smile and always welcoming. Marilyn wouldn't want us to live in sorrow but to live in the wonderful memories she left with us. Always remember and never forget she is always with us and will always be watching over us. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Senter, her parents Sam and Helen Dills. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Armstrong and husband Dean Armstrong, her grandchildren Austin and Skylar Armstrong, and her one and only great grandchild Logan Smith. She is also survived by her sister Shirley Gold, sisters- in- law Pauline Stacks, Geneva Whisenhunt, Imogene Haskins, Wanda Yarbrough, Peggy Senter and numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Armstrong, Skylar Armstrong, Ricky Kelley, Randy Kelley, Billy Brimmer, Johnny Nation, Bobby Brimmer and Brandon Brimmer.
