Marguerite Wilson of Waxahachie passed away Monday, August 13, 2007. She was born August 15, 1918 in Ellis County to J.C. and Emily (Alday) Hitt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Wilson; two brothers, Carey Hitt and Herbert Dan Hitt, and a sister, Elva York. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her son, Larry Wilson and his wife Lynne of Waxahachie; grandson Larry Wilson Jr. and wife Amy also of Waxahachie; granddaughter Lisa Lopez and husband Jorge of Ferris; great grandchildren Kristine and Halee Wilson of Waxahachie; and Sarah and Jacob Lopez of Ferris. Also surviving are one sister, Hazel Cockerham of Red Oak; two brothers, Harry Hitt and wife Fannie of Waxahachie; Rex Hitt and wife Barbara of Ovilla; and sister-in-law Ellie Hitt of Cleburne; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Methodist Children`s Home, 1111 Herring Ave., Waco, Texas 76708 or to a charity of your choice.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 15 from 6 to 8 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life is scheduled for Thursday, at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home with Reverend Mary Nell Partin officiating. Burial will be at Red Oak Cemetery.
