Margaret Emily "Margo" Johnson, age 64
October 21, 1941
March 11, 2006

Margo was born in Overton, Texas to Morgan and Dorothy Faye (Newcomb) Shields. She graduated from Leveretts Chapel High School as Valedictorian in 1960. She received her BA in Secondary Education from NTSU at Denton and was working on her Master's Degree at UTA. She married Randy Johnson on October 18, 1977 in Waxahachie.

Margo was a Social Worker for the State of Texas Department of Human Resources living in Waxahachie, Austin, Houston, Garland and Rowlett from 1976-2006.

She loved her husband, children and grandchildren.

Margo is survived by: her husband, Randy Johnson of Rowlett; two daughters, Debra Aday and her husband Scott of Garland, Deana Scobee and her husband Mark of Lavon; two brothers, Norman Shields and his wife Betty of Longview, David Shields of Lairel Hill; one sister, Susan Campbell and her husband Jule of Tyler; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dick Shields.

The family will receive friends and relatives 7-9 PM Monday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 4 PM Tuesday, March 14, 2006 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Gary Bronson officiating.
