Margaret Wacile Eastwood French

Margaret Wacile Eastwood French was born in Midlothian, Texas on December 31, 1921 to Ward and Bessie Eastwood. She attended Midlothian schools and graduated in 1940. She married Eulie Newton French on January 7, 1943 in Cleburne Texas. During World War II she worked for McKessan and Robins drug wholesalers in Dallas

In 1960 she began work for the Dallas Morning News in the classified ad department. In 1986 she moved to the circulation department and retired in 1998. She was a 68 year member of Eastern Star and a member of the First Baptist Church of Waxahachie. She loved going to the movies and in years past she enjoyed skating and especially ice skating and watched it on television as much as possible . And she loved her grandchildren and they loved their Nannie.

She is survived by her son Gaylard French of Waxahachie and his wife Mary Kathleen; one brother Terrell R. Eastwood of Springtown, Texas; grandchildren Jessica Elizabeth French and Jackson Austin French both of Waxahachie. Two nieces Susan Pruitt of Hurst and Sandra Burnhardt of Dallas, and one sister-in-law Juanita Eastwood of North Richland Hills. She was preceded in death by her husband Eulie Newton French and one brother Ward Eastwood Jr.

Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday November 26th from 6 to 8 P.M. at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10 A.M. Friday November 28th at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Walter Buchanan officiating. Interment will follow at the Midlothian Cemetery.
