Margaret Ferguson

Margaret Jean Hastings Ferguson, 92, passed away on January 9, 2018. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Hwy 287 Business in Waxahachie. Graveside services will be held that Saturday as well at 3:45 PM in the Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation with the family will be observed on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Margaret was born in Dallas, Texas to Alexander and Lilly May Hastings on August 5, 1925 and married L.D. "Sonny" Ferguson on October 13, 1942.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Ferguson; daughter, Linda Williston; son, Donald Ferguson; granddaughter, Carey Taylor Clark; grandson, Lacy Barton Sexton; great grandson, Christopher Williams; brothers, A.J. Hastings and Billy Joe Hastings; and sisters, Martha Hastings and Patsy Ruth Temple.

Margaret is survived by her son, Ronald Ferguson and his wife, Sharon; daughter, Pam Carter and her husband, Donald; grandchildren, Kathy Elchami, Rhonda Kenyon, Bryan Ferguson, Christopher Taylor, Brianna Taylor, Shannon Tuley, Jennifer Pifer and Michael Ferguson; 22 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and 8 nieces and nephews
