Maggie Lopez Williams

Maggie L. Williams passed away on January, 9th 2025. She was 48, born on February 25, 1976. She was witty, sarcastic, funny, and overall caring.

She earned her bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Arlington in Microbiology. She worked as a Biochemical engineer before leaving her career to raise her children. She became a teacher in 2002, ensuring she would have summer, Christmas, and every other holiday to spend with her family. While she was a teacher for 23 years, she very quickly found her home at Anna May Daulton Elementary in 2006.

Maggie also loved spending time with friends and family: Harry Potter, Dr. Who, Star Wars, and every other Sci-Fi thing a person could think of. 

Maggie had a large support system throughout her life including, but not limited to, her husband, Tony Williams, her children, TJ, Saylor, and Piper Williams, and her parents, Jesse Lopez and Sonia Talamentez, as well as Angie and Lloyd Santos, Angelika and Ronnie Williams, Diane and Robert Lamar, Cindy Webber, Chris Jaramillo, and Nick Haire.

Funeral services for Maggie will be held on 01/24/2025 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, Texas. We are holding visitation from 1-3pm, service from 3-4, and burial following the service.
