Allene Landreth, age 84

Mrs. Landreth, lifetime Ellis County resident, passed away Sunday at the Baylor Medical Center, Waxahachie. She was born in Pluto, Texas, the daughter of Thomas N. and Ressie T. (Perry) Grantham. She graduated from Milford High School and married R. J. Landreth in 1941 in Cleburne, Texas. Mrs. Landreth was employed over thirty years in several sewing factories, mostly with Haggar Slacks. She was of the Baptist faith.

Her survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Mary Landreth of Bryan, Texas; daughters, Pat LaCoume of Lewisville and Brenda Cobb of Waxahachie; grandchildren, Terry Wayne Lease, Randi Roxanne Hegwer and Jarred Adams; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Lease, Milo Lease, Jonathan Hegwer, Haden Hegwer, Ryan Hegwer and Brandon Adams; sister-in-law, Hettie Grantham of Austin. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Ronald Perry Landreth and husband R. J.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of her Life will be 11 AM Wednesday, November 15, 2006 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home.
