Madelyn Laffere Pavlas, 87, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2008. Madelyn was a passionate, dedicated homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.



Madelyn was born in Deanville, Texas on September 12, 1921 to Elo and Bertha (Dworsky) Laffere and was one of eight children. Madelyn married Ernest Pavlas on July 24, 1945 in Caldwell, Texas. In 1955 the couple moved to Austin, Texas where they lived and raised their family for the next 50 years. They were long time members of St. Theresa�s Catholic Church.



Madelyn was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, her husband of 61 years who died on August 21, 2006. She is survived by her children Marilyn Perry of Richardson, Texas, Linda Von Seggern and husband �Von� of San Antonio, Texas, and Patty McGinnis and husband Rick of Waxahachie, Texas, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, two brothers and one sister.



There will not be a formal visitation but friends are welcome to come to the funeral home for viewing on Friday, October 17th during business hours. Graveside services will be in Caldwell, Texas on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the St. Mary�s Catholic Church Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.

Services will be conducted under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie.
