Lydia Marie Holbert, also known as Little Bit, Lydibug, Angel Face and Boo Boo, passed away on November 17, 2023, in Glenn Heights, Texas, at the age of 1. She was born on November 1, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. Lydia is survived by her father, Jonathan Holbert, her mother, Hope Lee, and her twin brother Damian William Holbert. She will be deeply missed by her paternal grandparents, John and Kimberly Cheek, and her maternal grandparents, Eric and Martha New, and Will Lee as well as her maternal great-grandparents, Boyd and Terrie Grimes, Larry and Kathy New, and William and Gail Lee. Lydia also leaves behind her maternal uncle, Ryan New and paternal aunt, Sierra Billy. Lydia also has many aunts, uncles and cousins that loved her very much and will miss her dearly. Lydia was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Janet Louise Routh Grimes and paternal great-grandfather Marion Williams, as well as her maternal great-great-grandparents, James and Virginia Wilson, Clarence and Laverne Little, and Anne Grimes. During her brief time with us, Lydia brought joy and love to all who knew her. Despite her being diagnosed with Trisomy 18 (Edwards Syndrome) and Congenital Heart Disease, she did not let her prognosis keep her from proving everyone wrong. Her infectious laughter and bright smile will forever be cherished by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Lydia's life and honor her memory on December 2, 2023 at 1pm at Lifepoint Community Church 201 Louise Ritter Rd Red Oak, Texas 75154. May Lydia Marie Holbert Rest in eternal peace, and may her memory continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who loved her.
