Luis Zuniga-Guerrero

Luis Javier Zuniga-Guerrero, 23 of Waxahachie, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in Waxahachie. He was born January 25, 1993 in Mission, Texas. Luis enjoyed his time fishing with Gabby. He enjoyed gaming with his younger brother, Beto. He enjoyed talking with his mom and playing soccer. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Luis also liked Pokémon hunting. Luis had no limits. He was fearless and had many future goals, one of them being a police officer. Luis and his family were members of Bethesda Assembly of God. He was also part of Rescue Youth Ministries, where he played the guitar on the worship team. He loved to read, ride his bike, and explore. He loved listening to music and watching movies. He liked to pick on his siblings and loved his dogs, Gus, Poots, and Sadie. He loved animals, gardening, and of course, his one true treasure, his beard. He loved worshipping God. We love Luis very much. He was a kind hearted, sweet young man. Our hearts are broken and there is a void that will never be filled. Luis crossed the finish line before we did, but we rejoice for every moment spent with him. We look forward to seeing him again and rejoicing in Heaven.

He is survived by his parents, Luis Javier and Nora Elia Zuniga of Waxahachie; his siblings, Tania Azeneth Zuniga, Alberto Zuniga, Dinora Zuniga, all of Waxahachie; his grandparents, Paternal of Reynosa, Tamaulipas, MX, Onesimo Zuniga and Rosalva Garza; his fiancé, best friend and love of his life, Gabrielle Alina Munoz of Waxahachie; his best friend, Sam and wife, Amber Culley and God-daughter, Sophia Culley; he is also survived by Eduardo Camacho, lots of close friends, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by Alberto Guerrero and Angelina Gonzalez of Teran, Nuevo Leon,

Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Bro. Rudy Deleon and Rev. Robert Saenz officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2016 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
