Luis R. Rivera of Red Oak, TX. passed on to join our Heavenly Father on Friday, April 21, 2006.
Born on May 24th, 1943 in Mexico City, Luis is survived by his beloved wife Emma Rivera of Red Oak with whom he shared 35 wonderful years and together raised three beautiful children; son Luis Rivera 33, of Red Oak; daughter, Veronica Rodriguez 32, of Dallas; and son, Raul Rivera 29, of Red Oak. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren; Luis Manuel Rivera, Maya Celeste Rivera, and Victoria Rodriguez.

Luis will be remembered most for the love and devotion to his family.

As a man of faith he selflessly devoted time to work as a Eucharistic Minister and Knight of Columbus for his parish of St. Francis of Assisi in Lancaster, TX.

As a man of business he worked tirelessly as an international operations manager for 20+ years at Sara Lee Corp. and then as a semi retiree he used his extensive acumen to help local businesses and business owners.

He was a kind, gentle and thoughtful soul who will be greatly missed by those whose life he touched.

Vigil Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lancaster, TX. on April 24, 2006 from 7 PM-9 PM.

Resurrection Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lancaster, TX. on Tuesday April 25, 2006 from 10 AM - 12 PM.

Memorials can be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lancaster, TX.
