Lucy Ricker

November 25, 1917 — March 19, 2013

Lucy Ricker was born November 25, 1917 in Marshall, Texas to Edmund and Lucile Daniel. She went home to be with the Lord March 19, 2013. She was 95. She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Cecil Ledbetter, Edmund Daniel, Sarah Born, and Clifton Daniel, and her grandson, Jason Ricker. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Louis Harry Ricker, and her three children, Lucy, Fred (Joyce) Ricker, and Rose (Tony) Roy. She has three granddaughters, Andrea (Dave) Pierce, Hannah (Steve) Baehr and Christina Roy, and two great-grandchildren, Jaden and Kyrie Baehr, as well as many sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Lucy was always active in her churches and in community programs such as PTA, Literacy Volunteers, and the DAR. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Italy, Texas. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Central Baptist Church in Italy, Texas with Rev. Joseph Barrett officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 PM Friday at the Scottsville Cemetery in Scottsville, Texas. Visitation with the family will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Friday morning at Central Baptist Church in Italy.
