Lucille Griffin Wilson, 96 of Waxahachie, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in Waxahachie. She was born November 12, 1918 to the late Hassell and Ida Turner Clark in Mer Rouge, Louisiana. Hearts were her passion and she loved the colors red, white and blue. Lucille loved quilting and flower arranging where she won numerous awards at the Texas State Fair and numerous other shows. Lucille resided in the Oakcliffe area for over 50 years. She will be missed by many who knew her and loved her. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Will Hayden Griffin of 25 years, Tayman Wilson of 22 years; 3 brothers, Hassell Clark, Henry Mack Clark, Bob Clark; 2 sisters, Martha Jane Stringer, Anna Beth Houck. Services to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
