Mr. Lamb passed away Sunday at his Red Oak residence. He was born in Prescott, AR. to Loyd and Dorthy E. Lamb. He was a meat cutter for 18 years for Safeway.

He is survived by: his wife of 12 years, Sharon Lamb; daughter, Christie LaRue and husband Jason; son, Brian Lamb; grandchildren: Logan, Jasie Brooke, Brack and Maddie; children: Julie Ayers and Christie McKinney; son-in-law, Clyde McKinney; grandchildren: Rachel, Brian, Kim, Meagan and Dalton; great grandchildren, Kristin, Justin, Brooklyn and Emily; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Sandy Lamb, Doss and Wanda Lamb, Kevin and Lorrie Smith; sisters, Fran Sikes and husband D. C. (Buttons), Sheila Stone, Betty Welch, Carla Humphries and husband Virgil, Libby Sevier and husband Tommy; Carolyn Lamb, mother of Christie LaRue and Brian Lamb. He was preceded in death by his father, Loyd Lamb; mother, Dorthy E. Lamb Smith; step father, James L. Smith "POP"; sister, Rita Crivello and brother, Eddie Lamb.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5-7 PM Tuesday at the Red Oak Funeral Home with the Celebration of his Life at 7 PM also at the funeral home. A graveside service and interment will be 1 PM Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the Chapelwood Memorial Garden, Texarkana, Texas.
