Louis H. Ricker, 92, of Italy, Texas passed away on July 30, 2015 in Waxahachie, Texas; after a long illness. He was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to Mack C. Ricker and Anna Kielwein Ricker. He was predeceased by his parents, his step-mother; Sara B. Ricker, two brothers Dean M. Ricker and Lynn M. Ricker, his grandson; Jason D. Ricker, and his wife of sixty-one years; Lucy D. Ricker. He is survived by his three children; Lucy, Fred Ricker; wife Joyce, and Rose Roy; husband Tony. He is also survived by three granddaughters; Andrea Ricker, Hannah Baehr; husband Steve, and Christina Roy. He has two great-grandchildren; Jaden, and Kyrie Baehr. He is survived by two sisters Sallee A. Wilkins and Barbara J. Thomas; husband Charles, several cousins, and many nieces and nephews. He attended Penn State, and trade school. He joined the Navy in 1942, and was in the Pacific on the U.S.S. President Monroe during World War II. He retired in 1985 after thirty years as a tool maker from Chevrolet. He was a member of United Auto Workers; Local 774. For many years he volunteered with Literacy Volunteers. A private memorial service will be held later at the convenience of the family.
