Louis Crandall, Jr.

Louis Morris Crandall, Jr., 79 of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 10, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Dr. Louis Morris Crandall and Bessie Elizabeth Eiferd Crandall.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rose Marie Crandall of Waxahachie; five children, Louise Crandall, III and his wife, Tina of Waxahachie, Gary L. Crandall and his wife, Bonnie of Graham, NC, Tammy L. Bowen and her husband, Morgan of Waxahachie, Tim G. Crandall and his wife, Tammy of Mansfield and Karen A. Woodcock of Waxahachie; one sister, Joyce Sabine and her husband, Bob, of Waikegan, IL; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Louis M. Crandall, Sr. and Bessie E. Eiferd of Pittsburgh, PA; half-sister, Elaine Cherrington of Pleasant Hills; sister, Susan F. Williams of Pittsburgh, PA; and his great granddaughter, Grace Ziegler of Florida.

Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2016 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Gilchrist officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be begin at Noon on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home and will last until service time.

An inurnment is scheduled with military honors for 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
