Mr. Harris passed away at his Cedar Hill residence Monday morning. He was born in Hartmen, AR. to Charles Homer and Mary (Tipton) Harris. He served in WWII in the Army Medical Corps where he earned three Bronze Stars and a Philippine Liberation Medal. Mr. Harris had lived in Cedar Hill since 1991. He was a supervisor for a furniture company that sold to the Dallas Market Hall. He was a member of the Midlothian Church of Christ.

Mr. Harris is survived by: his wife, Hattie Harris of Cedar Hill; sons, Larry Harris also of Cedar Hill and Donnie Harris and wife Carol of Rogers, AR.; daughter Pam Harris of Cedar Hill; sister, Christine Dunn of Clarksville, AR.; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Thursday, May 27, 2004 at the Midlothian Church of Christ with Pastor Eddie Pitchford officiating. Pallbearers will be Brian Anderson, Mike Kendall, Don Reynolds, Chris Cummings, Chris Vidacovich and Gene Braun. Interment will follow at noon at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
