LOIS E. (TRIPLETT) BROCK

Lois Evelyn Triplett was born to John Middleton and Elva Ann (Allenbaugh) Triplett on October 6, 1922 in Ellis County Texas. She married John Burton Brock on September 28, 1946 in Farmers Branch, Texas. Lois graduated as Salutitorian from Abbott High School in 1942.

She dedicated her adult life to the health and well-being of others by being a Caregiver. She was a charter member of the Waxahachie Seventh Day Adventist Church where she has served as Secretary/Treasurer for the past 10 years. She was a self taught computer guru. An extreemly dedicated Wife, Mother, Grand Mother, Great Grand Mother and Christian Mentor to countless young and young-at-heart children of God.

Lois loved life and her family, she enjoyed preparing special meals for her loved one and having them in her home to visit and enjoy each others fellowship. She loved the Lord more than live itself, enjoyed the love and fellowship in Christ with her Family at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. The Church was home-away-from-home for Lois, she was a beacon of light, a wonderful role model and mentor. Everyone who came into contact with her was touched by her healing Christian sprit. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and Loved her.

She is survived by her daughters, Johnetta Brock Batson and Husband, Jeff, North Richland Hills,Texas, Elva Ann Brock Moir and Husband, Richard, Waxahachie, Texas; her granddaughters, Heather Springer Bowen and Husband, Jason, Justin, Texas, Hope Springer Kendall and Life Partner, Monique, Fort Worth, Texas, and Brandy Moir O'Rear and Husband, Tim, Hurst, Texas; her great granddaughters, Brook Bowen, Taylor Bowen, and BrockAnn Bowen, Justin, Texas; her great grandson, Simon O'Rear, Hurst, Texas; her son-in-law, Bryan Springer and Shirley Davies, Arlington, Texas; her sisters, Larue Lanier and Jayne Putman, Waxahachie, Texas; her sister-in-law, Katherine Brock, Waxahachie, Texas; her brother-in-law, LeRoy Brock, Hemit, California; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Middleton and Elva Ann Triplett; her husband, John Burton Brock; her brothers, John and Z.V. Triplett; and her sister, Marie Triplett Oliver.

Those serving as pallbearers include, Bob Baker, Rodney Jenkins, Steve Jenkins, LaForest Moore, Michael Pietryzk, Eddie Small, Eric Trojacek.
Honorary pallbearers include, LeRoy Brock, Barry Brock, Donnie Brock, Brian Lanier, John Lanier, Mike Helmick, Bill Helmick.

Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at the Ferris Heights United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2009 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
