Linda Lucy "Thomas" Wolaver

Linda Lucy Thomas Wolaver (Nana) was born in Waxahachie, Texas on April 28, 1944.  She left this earth to be with Christ on February 5, 2024.  Linda served over 50 years as an administrative assistant for Red Oak Independent School District.  She was a long-lived member of the United Methodist Church where she served in many capacities throughout the years until her passing.  Linda always enjoyed being on the go.  She loved eating out with family and friends, shopping, growing outdoor flowers and plants and supporting anything her kids and grandkids were doing. She fundamentally loved her family and would not miss an opportunity to be with any of them.  She was surrounded by dedicated friends and family until her passing.  

Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Gaines Wolaver, her parents, Sanford and Anna Thomas, beloved in-laws as well as many cousins.  She is survived by her son Rob and his wife Holly, daughter Jamye and her husband Jay, grandchildren Emma and Kate Autrey, Ashley Bell, Trey Benton, great grandchildren Reese, Raelyn, Hutson, Caleb, Landon and Raylen.
