Mrs. Williams passed away early Monday morning at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie. Linda was born in Italy, Texas to Thomas and Annie (Woody) McCain. She was raised in Waxahachie and graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1957. She had been employed with Unity Hunt of Dallas for many years and especially enjoyed working with Lamar Hunt. She retired in 2004.

She is survived by her life partner Harold Witherspoon of Bristol, her mother Annie McCain of Waxahachie, her daughter Sherrie Odom and husband Larry of Waxahachie, her two sons Charles and James Lynn of Waxahachie, her granddaughter Lindsay Markert who was named for her, Lyndsay's husband Ryan and their son Jackson Rex. Also surviving are other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cousins.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 PM Thursday evening September 20, 2007 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be 10:00 AM Saturday morning, September 22, 2007 at the Bristol Cemetery with Brother Richard Smith officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Ellis County SPCA in her memory.
