Linda Joyce Mitchell

Linda Joyce Mitchell, 71, passed away on June 1, 2023. Linda was born to Morris and Betty (Farmer) Brazier on October 24, 1951, in Ennis, Texas. Linda is a graduate of Waxahachie High School.

From a very young age, Linda was a very independent woman, due to raising three children on her own. She always did what she had to do to make sure her children had all they needed. Linda and her children lived close to Linda’s parents which created a close-knit relationship with the extended family.

On December 16, 1999, Linda married Stewart Mitchell, in Kaufman, Texas, and eventually moved to Gun Barrell, Texas where they enjoyed 24 years together.

Linda was an employee of Dal-Tile, in Dallas, and loved her Baptist faith. Linda loved Nissan. She bought her first Nissan several years ago and, as life progressed, she was able to order her dream car, a 2020 Nissan Maxima, which she was very proud of.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Sharon Copeland and grandson Zeth Carrier.

Linda is survived by her husband Stewart, son Terry Daniel, daughters Tammy Herron, Sharon Carrier and Brittany Crain as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Linda was an amazing woman and will be truly missed by her family and friends.
