Linda Maris

Linda Maris, age 70 of Waxahachie, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021. She was born to the late Franklin Boone Smith and Annie Mae Smith on November 26, 1950, in Cleburne Texas. Her sister was the late Bertie Lyles.

Linda graduated from Cleburne High School and later in life worked as an accountant for El Dorado County in Placerville California.

Linda was a loving mother and had a passion for her family. She loved taking vacations with her children and grandchildren. She especially loved the cruises she was able to take over the last few years with her family.

She married O.S. (Sid) Maris III on February 11, 1972. She had four sons, Sid Maris IV, Justin Maris, Eric Maris, and Andrew Maris. She is survived by her husband, four children and four grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10am, August 20th, 2021 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 West Hwy 287 Business, Waxahachie Tx, 75165. Burial will proceed after the services at Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne Tx.
