Letha Fox

Letha Deola Fox entered this world on April 5, 1922 in Crosbyton, TX and departed for her eternal home 92 years later on July 23, 2014. Deola's family relocated to Eastland County when she was a child and she later married J.A. "Shorty" Fox and they raised their family in Eastland, Texas. Deola was preceded in death by her parents, Nora and Carl Perrin, ex-husband J.A. Fox, Brother Robert Perrin, sister Winona Buckley, three sons Fred Fox, Steve Fox and Aubrey Fox; an infant daughter Elizabeth Ann Fox; one grandson Randy Fox, one step grandson Christopher Gibson and four son in laws David Wilkerson, Reginald Earnest, Joe Beggs and John Gibson. Deola is survived by 8 children and their families. Gary Fox and wife Evalyn, Ilene Beggs, Margaret Fox, Glenn Fox and wife Christy, Ruby Bryant and husband Terry, Virgil "Rip" Fox and wife Sharon, Rose , Arrington and husband Billy and Diane Fox. She leaves behind 19 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, 40 plus great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and her two favorite grand dogs Remi and Rowdy Gibson. Deola enjoyed many activities such as quilting and sewing. She was an avid reader. She was an exceptional cook and grew and canned many of her own fruit and vegetables. Deola loved bright colors and had a fondness of vibrant beautiful flowers. Over the years she acquired quite a collection of porcelain dolls. Deola had a sharp wit and great sense of humor right up to the end. Most importantly she loved her family and her Savior immensely. Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 PM Monday July 28, 2014 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W. Hwy 287 Bus, Waxahachie, Texas. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for Tuesday, July 29th 2014 at 10 AM Landmark Baptist Church, 982 East Ovilla Road, Red Oak, Tx. Interment and graveside services will be Tuesday, July 29th at 3 PM Eastland Cemetery, Eastland, TX. Services will be officiated by Pastor Chad Spence of Red Oak, TX and Robert Shields of Waxahachie, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie,TX.
