Lester Miller, Sr.

Lester lived a long life and was the most loving man you could ever meet. He lived for his family. At age 58, his wife suffered a severe stroke and he spent the next 20 years lovingly caring for her until she passed in 2012. He is survived by his daughters, Beverly (Randy) Duckett, Darlene (Gary) Blackburn of Waxahachie; his sons, Danny (Cindy) Miller of Palmer, Neal (Lisa) Miller of Ennis; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Lester is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years in 2012; his son, Lester Miller, Jr. in 2006; his parents, Edgar Marvin and Maudie Lee Miller; his brothers, Luther, Emmett, Ed, Tommy and Ernest Miller; his sisters, Lela Bryson, Billie Steele and Ada Gaston. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2014 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Lakeview Cemetery.
