Leona Amick Thweatt, age 82
November 26, 1922
March 20, 2005

Mrs. Thweatt passed away early Sunday morning at her Waxahachie residence. She was born in New Franklin, MO. to Cliff W. and Anna Bertha (Carson) Amick. Mrs. Thweatt was a teacher in the Memphis City Schools. She retired as a Second grade teacher and was a member of the First Christian Church in Palmer.

Mrs. Thweatt is survived by: daughter, Janet Thweatt Delk and Jean Hand and husband Glenn, all of Waxahachie; grandchildren, Jeffrey G. Dunbar and Kevin G. Hand; great grandchildren, Ericka , Catherine and William Dunbar. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Graveside Services at the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, Wednesday, March 23, 2005 with Reverend C. D. Haun officiating. Interment will follow.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
