Lena Keenom

Lena Louise Keenom, 79, of Waxahachie, passed away December 2, 2016 in Waxahachie. She was born September 2, 1937 in Malvern, AR.

She loved to read her bible every morning to start her day. She enjoyed playing bingo, "42" and a dice game with her friends. She enjoyed reading books and liked watching Family Feud. Most of all she loved her family. She will be missed by so many who knew her and love her.

Lena is survived by her children, Elliott Miller, Vincent Miller, Debora McDaniel, Barbara Stickles, Laura Ford, Rose Ramos and Leann Keenom; her brother and sister-in-law, Plaze and Joyce Denson; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ethel Dollarhide and William Albert Denson; her first husband, David Miller; second husband, Arthur Keenom; her sisters, Sue Denson and Izora Moore; her brother, Tom Denson; her son-in-law, Roy McDaniel; and also by her grandson, Kevin McDaniel.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Ferris Heights United Methodist Church, 108 Center Street, Waxahachie, Texas with Rev. Carol Roberts officiating.
