Lee Fegette, 89 of Dallas, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2007 in a Dallas nursing home. He was born on July 30, 1918 in Oglesby, Texas.
Lee was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps during WWII serving as a SSG. He was a member of the Army Airforce Escape & Evasion Society; a member of the IOOF lodge in Dallas; and the Masonic Lodge in Waxahachie. Lee retired as a lineman for Texas Power and Light with over 43 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred Louise Cooper Fegette; son, Gerald Lee Fegette of Dallas; step-sons, Bill Fegette of Dallas, Bobby J. Fegette of Dallas; daughter, Lillian Cerise Bezusko of Dallas; step-daughter, Judy Killgore of McGregor, Texas; brother, Nathan Fegette of Oglesby, Texas; sister, Eugenia Fegette of Albuquerque, NM; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2007 at the Ovilla Cemetery in Ovilla with Michael Elrod officiating, under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Red Oak Funeral Home in Red Oak.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
