Mrs. Henley passed away Tuesday morning at the Renfro Healthcare Center in Waxahachie. She was born in Falls County, Texas to Will and Sarah (Howard) Goonan. She graduated from Bella-Falls High School. She married Frank Henley on November 12, 1939 in Marlin, Texas. They moved to Waxahachie in 1955, where she was a member of the First Baptist Church, the GA Mission organization, Baptist Women, and the Deborah Sunday School Class.

Survivors include sons Donald Henley and his wife Pat of Waxahachie, and Ronald Henley and his wife Carol of Kingwood, Texas; daughter Diane Henley of Waxahachie; sister LaLa Bowen of Friendswood, Texas; grandchildren Shelley and Reed Vineyard, Jason and Terri Henley, Mark Henley and Susan Henley; great grandchildren Ashlyne Vineyard, Gabrielle Henley, and Tyler Henley. She is preceded in death by parents Will and Sarah (Howard) Goonan, and husband Frank.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2006 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2006 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund in Waxahachie.
