Jimmie LaRue (Bee Baby) Curry Forbes was born on April 2, 1935 in Bethel, Texas and she died on April 8, 2020 in Enumclaw, Washington.
She is survived by her two daughters - Nannette Forbes McKie and her husband Stanley McKie of Enumclaw, Washington and their children Evan Forbes and Olivia LaRue; and Vicki Forbes Denning and her husband Keith Denning of Auburn, Washington and their son Ryan Forbes.
She is also survived by a sister, Mary Jane Tate of China Springs, Texas; two nephews, Harold Barnard and his wife Debbie of Waxahachie and Gary Tate and his wife Angie of Acquilla, Texas; and three nieces, Glenda Alaniz and Janie Barnard of Waxahachie and Christie Walker and her husband Jim of China Springs along with several great nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stevie Don Forbes, her mother Irene Curry, her siblings Robbie Jean Barnard, Harold “Sonny” Curry and Jackie Baxter along with a niece Robbie Kay Baxter-Hobbs.
She grew up in Waxahachie and moved with her husband and daughters to Auburn Washington in 1987 where she lived until moving to Enumclaw in 2017. She worked as a bookkeeper for Martinson, Cobean & Associates, a Certified Public Accounting firm for 35 years. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She was a crafter and a quilter. She enjoyed watching football, going to the theater and she always loved a good political discussion. Mom's goodwill and kindness will last with us forever.
