Larry James Chenault, age 63 March 10, 1948 October 23, 2011 Mr. Chenault passed away at his residence in Forreston early Sunday Morning. Larry was born in Waxahachie to James Douglas and Virginia (Murdoch) Chenault. He was a lifetime resident of Forreston where he graduated from High School in 1966. He attended UT in Arlington before joining the US Army in 1967. He was Honorably Discharged in 1971. Larry served 29 years as a firefighter with the Waxahachie Fire Department, retiring in 2001 as Captain. Larry married Deborah Watt December 15, 2006 in Waxahachie. Larry had also been a bullrider, farmer/rancher, a member of the NRA, Cattlemans Association, an avid sportsfan, and loved the outdoors. He is survived by his wife Deborah of Forreston, his mother Virginia Chenault of Forreston, 3 sons; Stephen Chenault of Forreston, James Bryant Chenault and his wife Stephanie of Maypearl, James Barber of the Woodlands, 2 daughters; Jamie Chenault Jenkins and her husband Scott of Waxahachie, and Milissa Nobles of Waco, 4 grandchildren; James Tyler Chenault, Jordan Chenault, Alyssa Nobles, and Archie Nobles, 1 brother John Chenault , 1 sister Judy Lonon and her husband Buddy both of Forreston. Also surviving is the mother of his children Sally Chenault Mundie of Perdon, Texas, Uncle J.L. Murdoch Jr. of Forreston, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father JD Chenault, Paternal Grandparents James and Edna Chenault, Maternal grandparents Jesse and Gertrude (Hamm) Murdoch. The family will receive friends and relatives from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Thursday, October 27, 2011 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel with Brother James "Sonny" McWhorter officiating. Interment will follow at the Forreston Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Dewaine Williams, Kevin Strength, Randy Covan, Donald Lynn, Joe Turner, Richard Smithey, Jimmy Watt. Honorary Pallbearers will be the WFD Class A Officers.
