Kyle Ray McKinney, 37, a loving son, brother, father and friend to many, passed away September 18, 2009. He was born on November 8, 1971 in Dallas.

Kyle had many things he enjoyed and loved in life. He loved his daughter, and loved music. He enjoyed motorcycles, fast cars and going to the lake. Kyle was a free spirit, loved people and everyone loved him. He loved being around family and friends. Everyone enjoyed Kyle's great smile. He had such a gentle and sweet spirit and was always a perfect gentleman. Kyle will always be with us and those that knew him and loved him will always remember the great man he was.

He is survived by his daughter, Nicole McKinney; by his mother, Patty Edwards and her husband, Rick; his father, C. E. McKinney, Jr. and his wife, Tawnya; his brothers, Dustin McKinney, Travis Edwards, and Rick Edwards; his grandparents, Reva and Bob DeVaughn; his beloved companion, Melissa Woodruff; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Services to celebrate Kyle's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Bro. Don Ricks officiating. Interment will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
