Kirven Wayne White, 69, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in Dallas, Texas surrounded by his family after a hard-fought battle with lung cancer.
Known as “KW” to family and friends, Kirven was born on November 15, 1951 in Bridgeport, Texas to J.H. and Oma White. After high school, Kirven enlisted in the United States Army. He served in the 1st Calvary Division in the Vietnam War and was awarded many medals including the Bronze Star Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal Clasp 2 Bronze Stars, National Defense Service Medal, and others before being honorably discharged in 1975. He began his career in Sales working for Breco Rental Equipment. He retired from Miinc in 2013. Kirven loved bowling, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Kirven was preceded in death by his parents and sister Gwenda Hickson.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Dorothy Maxine White; son, Brian White, and wife Belinda; daughter, Kaleia Cloud, and husband Blake; grandson, Brandon White; brother Mick and wife Diane; and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Dallas- Ft. Worth National Cemetery with full military honors.
