Kevin Chandler

Kevin M Chandler, 52 of Ennis, Texas went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2019 in Waxahachie, Texas surrounded by his best friend and partner Oscar Pantoja and cousin Colby Chandler.

Kevin was a selfless, loving and caring man that always put others needs before his own.  He would help anyone in need, family, friend or stranger.   As the good son and brother, he took care of his father, mother, sister and nephew, providing them all he could.   Kevin had a big heart and a great love for animals of all kinds particularly his devoted little companions, Gidget and Duchess.   He could never say no to any animal in need.  If an animal needed a home everyone new "Ask Kevin, he'll take it".  He had a passion for 4H and FFA.  He lived for helping kids with any of the animal projects they chose, giving them advice on how to feed and care for them.  He was always very proud of the kids and was very supportive of them, helping them with any of their needs and attending any of the fairs or stock shows that he could manage to get away to.

Kevin was also a dedicated employee of SCS Engineers for many years.

He will be greatly missed by all that loved him, especially by Oscar, Sonny & Lupita Pantoja, Debbie & Jackie Robinson, Colby Chandler, Earnest McClelland and countless others whose lives he had touched.

We would like to extend special thanks and gratitude to all the doctors and ICU Nurses, especially Joey, Rachel, Kacy, Olivia, Linda and countless others at Baylor Scott and White hospital in Waxahachie for the care they provided Kevin while he was there.

Kevin is survived by his immediate family in Louisiana which includes Brothers and sisters: Kenneth Chandler, Kelly Chandler, Gregg Chandler, Karen Chandler and Lynn Chandler.  Nephews:  Austin Smith and Dylan Chandler.   Preceded in death by his Father Richard Chandler, and Mother Judy Chandler.

Friends and family are encouraged to gather for a time of visitation Friday, April 19, 2019 from 6-8 in the evening at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Services celebrating Kevin's life will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Lee Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Gateway Memorial Park in Waxahachie.
