Kenneth D Haney, age 76March 4, 1931July 23, 2007Mr Haney passed away Monday morning at Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas with his son Kyle at his side.Mr. Haney was born in Cushing, Texas to Jewel M and Della (Bradshaw) Haney. He graduated from Ennis High School and Served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Peggy Jean Hunter February 2, 1951 in Waxahachie and enjoyed 54 years of marriage. Mr. Haney retired after 40 years of service in Management of ADT Security Systems in Washington DC and Dallas.He attended the Bethel United Methodist Church. He is survived by 2 sons; Kevin P Haney of Thurmont, Maryland, Kyle A Haney of Waxahachie, 3 Brothers; Johnny Haney and his wife Carolyn, Max Haney and his wife Betty, Brax Haney and his wife Mollie, all of Lufkin, 1 sister, Fleda Earles and her husband Charlie of Nacadoches and 1 sister-in-law Betty Sims Hunter. Also surviving are his grand dogs Chi-Chi, and Snowball. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one sister.The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Thursday, July 26, 2007 at the Red Oak Cemetery with Pastor Mary Nell Partin officiating.
