Mr. Kenneth Allen Bryant Sr., 73 of Waxahachie passed away Friday afternoon at Renfro Healthcare Center after a hard fought battle with Alzheimers . He was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Waxahachie and was born in Sardis, Texas on February 10, 1930. Ken was loved by his family and respected by his fellow man. He was a perfect example of what God would want a husband, father, and friend to be. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed woodworking and he took great pride in being the caretaker for the Sardis Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. "Papa Bryant" will be truly missed by grandkids and great grandchildren and all who knew him.

Mr. Bryant is survived by Daughter & Son in Law: Dona and John McCutchen of Waxahachie, Texas; Daughter & Son in Law: Sherry and Jon Washington of Waxahachie; Son and Daughter in Law: Kenneth Allen Jr. and Debbie Bryant of Lancaster, Texas; Son and Daughter in Law: Johnny and Lou Bryant of Forreston, Texas Grandchildren: Johnna and Scott Dorsett, Heather and Thomas Smith, Judd Mathew Bryant McCutchen, Wade and Lucci Deal, Brandi and Dennis Adamson, Hope Galvan, Kenneth Allen Bryant III, Adam and Alicia Bryant, Kari Bryant, Nathan Bryant, Cortnie Bryant, Blair Bryant and Zac Bryant. Great Grandchildren: Logan Scott Dorsett, Kennedy Clair Dorsett, Trevor Smith, Tanner Smith, Chandler Deal, Dakota Deal, Shadoh Deal, Jazmyn Usher, Saxon Usher, Riley Esselman, Sadie Galvan, Gabie Galvan, Madison Wiggins, Kenneth Allen Bryant IV, Jordan Bryant, Dezzmen Mynson,
1 Sister in Law: Virgie Fleeman; He was preceeded in death by his loving wife Martha Jean Muirhead Bryant his parent Madeline Hassell Robertson and Step Father: John Henry Robertson and Father Carl T. Bryant and one Grandson: Samuel Heath Bryant.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Sunday, July 27, 2003 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM, Monday, July 28, 2003 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tim Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at the Sardis Cemetery.
