Keith Smith, Jr.

Keith Trout Smith, Jr. was born October 5, 1961 in Vinita, Oklahoma to Keith Trout Smith, Sr. and Judi (Smith) Hocutt. Keith and his family relocated to Dallas Texas in 1963 where he attended schools in Mesquite, TX. Keith proudly worked as a Senior Tractor Technician with Crete Carrier Corporation for almost 16 years. Keith went to be with our Good Lord on Thursday, January 16, 2014. He is survived by his parents Judi and F.D. Hocutt, sisters Sonya Lynn Wesolek and spouse Mike, Duriee Smith and Curtis Woodard, also aunts and uncles Geta and Dean Gatterman, Jim Smith, Doug and Dottie Smith, Phil and Linda Smith, Betty Smith, Gayle Vanatta, Elizabeth Hilton, George and Kathy Hilton, Rita Bowles, step-sisters; Debbie, Chris, Carol, Sonia and spouses, step-brother Joe Paul Hocutt as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal father Keith Trout Smith, Sr. and stepmother Joyce Smith, Tony Smith, violet Smith, his grandparents Jim and Sue Smith, G.G. and Helen Hilton, Don Bowles and step-sister Becky. Visitation will be Monday, January 20, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, TX. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Interment services will commence immediately thereafter in Mesquite, TX. at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park.
